Our RS232 software will allow you to view and send (all 256) ASCII/Extended-ASCII (non-printable) RS232 data. Our RS232 software are a high performance 32-bit applications designed to run on almost all modern Windows OS (9x - Windows 7).
RS232 software: main characteristics
Our RS232 software are a mature, stable products used by professional technicians, engineers and software developers as a development aid, debugging and logging tool for RS232 port related projects. Our RS232 software will work with the serial port or COM ports provided by your operating system. Physically, these RS232 ports will be male RS232 DB9 interfaces in most cases. However, it is also possible to use RS232 software< for other communication standards such as RS485 and RS422, which have a different electrical design to RS232 but follow the RS232 communication mechanism. Also supported are Virtual COM ports presented by e.g. USB-Serial adaptors, Bluetooth Serial Port Profile devices and internal RS232 port extension cards (e.g. PCI or PCMCIA).
